The climate smart village approach is an extension program which aims to the Transformation of Villages to handle Climate risk by Adoption (Productivity), building Resilience and Mitigating to ensure increasing in production in normal year and normal production in bad year.

The initiative accomplished noteworthy marks:500 Farmer Field Schools trained 19,741 farmers mushroom cultivation, vermicomposting, and animal husbandry and facilitated market linkage programs for better returns.in Climate-Smart Agriculture, encircling 1,645 acres under DSR (saving 1,882.79 CuM/Ha of water) and 20,000 acres under AWD (saving 2,494 CuM/Ha).
Zero tillage was adopted on and these participants achieved a 140,930 acres of wheat, CRM on 2.5 lakh acres costs by 21%, and 92.5% of stubble burning was eradicated.
